ALPS Corporation, a dynamic and growing professional liability insurance and services company, is seeking self-driven professionals for a direct outbound calling sales position in Missoula, Montana.  This direct sales position will be part of a team whose responsibility is to increase sales of ALPS Lawyers Professional Liability insurance (LPLI). ALPS is the nation’s largest direct writer of LPLI and is endorsed carrier by more State Bar Associations than any other carrier in the country.

The primary responsibility of this sales role is to make outbound phone calls to law firms with the purpose of a) gaining commitment to receiving a competitive quote from ALPS or b) learning when their policy is up for renewal to identify when our sales team can call them back at the appropriate time.

Full Job Description:


 The Lead Generation Specialist is responsible for generating new qualified sales leads to support the team. By making outbound phone calls to law firms with the purpose of a) gaining commitment to receiving a competitive quote from ALPS or b) learning when their policy is up for renewal to identify when our sales team can call them back at the appropriate time. 

ALPS employees are expected to maintain a positive work atmosphere through communication and behavior that is courteous, cooperative, non-harassing and respectful to customers, co-workers, supervisors and management. 


1.       Make outbound phone calls to prospective clients using lists provided by ALPS marketing

2.       Manage data for new and prospective clients in database, ensuring all communications are logged, information is accurate and documents are attached.

3.       Works with the team to create a cohesive environment. Contributes to the daily workflow with regular and punctual attendance. 

4.       Performs other duties/responsibilities and attends meetings as necessary and assigned.


Minimum Education:              High School Diploma/GED or combination of education and proven sales experience or Undergraduate degree. Must be able to attain licensure to sell insurance if not already obtained.   

Minimum Experience:            Proven telephone experience, preferably call center or outbound sales in a professional sales setting.    

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:          Excellent written and oral communication skills; excellent organizational and presentation skills; self-motivated, flexible and resourceful, and ability to work independently. A high degree of computer proficiency, adapting quickly to improving technology and willing to learn.   Demonstrated ability to develop and successfully implement sales and marketing strategy.

Other Qualifications:              Highly professional and self-confident. Uses experience and good judgment; an independent thinker; solution oriented, and takes ownership and responsibility of his/her actions. Demonstrates leadership capacity and results oriented to exceed goals and expectations. Requires continuing education courses and professional licensure.
